skyline Falcons Varsity Can’t Catch Up To Windsor
Skyline Falcons Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in an 11-1 loss to Windsor on Thursday. Windsor scored on a double by Lockner, a triple by Vialpando, and a groundout by Baessler in the first inning.
The Skyline Falcons Varsity struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Windsor, giving up 11 runs.
Windsor got things started in the first inning when Lockner doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Jares led the Windsor to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He went six innings, allowing one run on five hits, striking out nine and walking zero.
Nate McGregor took the loss for Skyline Falcons Varsity. He allowed eight hits and seven runs over four innings, striking out three.
James Canar led Skyline Falcons Varsity with two hits in three at bats.
