Game Recap

Wonderful performance by the Skyline Falcons keeping great composure and being patient at the time of moving the ball and setting up the tone of a game with great ball movement and a nice exhibition of possession.
Jose Medrano opened the scoring in the second half after a great header by Austin Gillies causing an assist to Jose when the ball landed right by Jose and all he had to do was to push it to he back of the net. The second goal was scored by Austin Gillies after a great effort and example of intensity and hard work while stealing the ball from the defender battling for possession and putting it past the goalie. Nathan Wanninger had a great game assisting David Quiroz twice to put the third and fourth goals away after two nice text book like plays running and beating on the right side all the way from the defense to put two beautiful crosses where David Quiroz executed perfectly. The entire team played consistently well and everyone of the Falcon players contributed with lots of energy and a great deal of enthusiasm all over the field.
This win meant a lot for the Skyline Falcon Program as the season comes closer to an end and the expectation continues to be hard work and dedication to consequently improve and grow stronger and smarter.
Diego Chavez was the goalie for the 80 minutes of the game making 4 saves and accepting zero goals.
Extremely proud of this group of amazing young man and the coaching staff! Also, especial thanks to all of those fans that showed up to support our team!
